IEEE India philanthropy (IIP) supports the IEEE core purpose of fostering technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. The vision of IIP is to be a leader in transforming lives through the power of technology and education and the mission of IIP is to inspire the engaged community and leverage the generosity of donors to enable IEEE India philanthropy programs that enhance technology access, literacy, and education, and engage the IEEE professional community.
The five pillars of the IEEE India Philanthropy include Illuminate, Educate, Engage, Energize and Future. IIP is committed to designing India specific initiatives to address the problems of marginalised communities through the power of technology and power.
