About IEEE India

IEEE India Operations Center was established in 2010 with a focus on standards, technical activities, membership development, Education, philanthropy initiatives, business development, and support for digital library customers. IEEE India is developing educational programs under the umbrella of the IEEE Blended Learning Program, focused on training and skills development. IEEE India Philanthropy (IIP) supports the IEEE core purpose of transforming lives through the power of technology and education with generosity of internal (within IEEE) and external donors. IEEE India Operations Center is also responsible for the territories of India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh for promoting the IEEE Xplore® and IEEE Computer Society Digital Library. IEEE India’s Contact Center provides support for members in India and around the world. IEEE India also has a strong public-policy focus by engaging with policymakers and technology experts.

In India, IEEE has 13 Sections ( Bangalore Section, Bombay Section, Delhi Section, Gujarat Section, Hyderabad Section, Kerala Section, Kharagpur Section, Kolkata Section, Madras Section, Madhya Pradesh Section, Pune Section Uttar Pradesh Section, Vizag Bay Section) and 15 Sub-sections (Kochi Subsection, Malabar Subsection, Podhical Subsection, Mangalore Subsection, Ananthapuramu Subsection, Guntur Subsection, Rajasthan Subsection, Nagpur Subsection, Roorkee Subsection, Bhubaneswar Subsection, Chandigarh Subsection, North Karnataka Subsection, Patna Subsection Rourkela Subsection, Mysore Subsection).
